I started making pottery in my 20s and fell in love with it.  It is still my favorite thing to do!

After taking a class at Colby College, I moved to Martha's Vineyard and started working seriously with some potters there.  From there I went to Penland School of Crafts where I studied production pottery with Byron Temple.  That experience inspired me to attend Alfred University where I earned my BFA in ceramic art.

After that, I moved to Woodstock, NY and set up my own studio.  I have sold my work wholesale in galleries and museum shops for many decades now as well as at retail craft fairs.  At the same time, I have taught pottery classes and workshops to adults, children and families here in my studio.
